Terms & Conditions

Booking MHE Training

The following facilities will be required for the duration of the course:

  1. Uninterrupted use of a classroom suitable for the number of candidates and instructor
  2. TV screen (if not available this can be provided)
  3. Uninterrupted use of the relevant MHE
  4. Use of a cordoned off area for practical training

Prior to refresher training commencing, please provide a copy of the candidate(s) certificates.  This is required as evidence the course can be run as a refresher.  If this information is not available then, as a legal requirement, the candidate(s) must undertake a novice course.

We will also require a copy of the current LOLER certificate for the MHE that will be used for the duration of the training.  Unfortunately without this training will not commence, as again, this is a legal requirement.

If the course has to be cancelled for the following reasons:

  1. No previous operating evidence provided
  2. No LOLER thorough inspection certificate provided
  3. MHE is not in an operational condition
  4. Non-attendance by candidate(s)
  5. Deposit payment or purchase order has not been received 48 hours prior to course commencement

Then 100% of the course fee will still be payable.

Booking Fire Marshall Training

 The following facilities will be required for the duration of the course:

  1. Uninterrupted use of a classroom suitable for the number of candidates and instructor
  2. TV screen (if not available this can be provided)

Prior to refresher training commencing, please provide a copy of the candidate(s) certificates.  This is required as evidence the course can be run as a refresher.  If this information is not available then, as a legal requirement, the candidate(s) must undertake a novice course.

If the course has to be cancelled for the following reasons:

  1. No previous training evidence provided
  2. Non-attendance by candidate(s)
  3. No classroom facility
  4. Deposit payment or purchase order has not been received 48 hours prior to course commencement

Then 100% of the course fee will still be payable.

Cancellation for All Courses

If a course is cancelled within 10 working days of the course commencement date, 100% of the course fee(s) are payable.

If a course is cancelled within 11 – 15 working days of the course commencement date, 50% of the course fee(s) are payable.

Course Re-scheduling

If a course needs to be re-scheduled there is no penalty applicable, but please provide as much notice as possible.

Candidate Referral

In the event of a candidate not meeting the required standard to pass the course, 100% of the course fee will still be charged and any additional training and re-testing will need to be booked.

Payment Terms

Upon booking of any training course, a purchase order or 50% deposit via bank transfer is required.  The course booking will not be considered finalised if a purchase order or 50% deposit has not been received at least 7 days prior to commencement of the course.

An invoice will be sent on completion of training, payment must be made 30 days, end of month following.

Certificates and training records will only be released upon full payment and will remain the property of Claret & Blue Training until full payment has been received.
